My Review of Air Fleet Training:
I started at Airfleet at the end of June this year with absolutely no prior experience ever having even sat in a small plane before, and this week I successfully completed my first couple solo flights. From Discovery Flight to Check Ride, this crew of professionals take their jobs very seriously (as any flight school should, of course), but what's really made my learning experience productive and memorable is the personal touch and deep commitment to making each student a success.
From my second flight on, while I was still trying to remember who my instructor was, everyone at the flight school knew me by name. Flexibility in scheduling, after-work-hours sessions, and bus stop (I'm a carless Manhattaner) to flight school pick-ups are just a few examples of how Alexey, Elena, Pierre, and the rest of the Air Fleet staff go over and above. Recently I saved a chunk of change by following up on a doctor recommendation for my medical.
WRT instruction, Joseph, with over 1000h, has shown me infinite patience, while continuously challenging me to improve as my skills have developed. Successful and safe technical execution and thorough knowledge of aviation theory and navigation are primary focuses during each one of my sessions. Looking forward to wrapping up my PPL soon.
I would (and have) recommended Air Fleet to anyone who's interested in learning how to fly!
