Overall Score: 4.3/5 |
Employee(s) worked with: Lynn Postel, CFI II
Reason for visit: Flight Training
I recommend this flight school: Yes
Pros
Quality instruction
Convenient location for both flying (practice areas) and driving
G1000 panel Cessna 172 |
Cons
Management caters to private jets so maintenance issues for the instruction aircraft is sometimes put on back burner--planes may be down for longer time. |
My Review of American Aviation:
Lynn is a fabulous instructor -- he is thorough and sets high expectations for his students with regard to preparation, but he has the patience of Job!! He made the process enjoyable and rigorous so that I completed my training confident in my abilities and safety.
Facility is convenient if you are in the N Pasco, W Hillsoborough or Henrnando County areas. Clean, well maintained AC, including the glass panel outfitted 172.
The business doesn't really support the flight school as much as it could so sometimes the planes are unavailable. They cater to private jet business.
