My Review of Chicagoland Aviation:
Stay away from this place. All of their groupon, living social, travelzoo deals are a sham. I don't live in the Chicagoland area, but my dad does. I bought him and I a discovery flight for his bday. We tried to cash it in at least 4 times when I was going to be in town (twice special trips just for this). All 4 times we were scheduled to fly and "something" came up that they had to cancel on us (once because the instructor had a conflict with his personal calendar, seriously).
Anyway, after 4 attempts the expiration date was coming up, and they said not to worry about and would still honor the deal. Lies. I called to schedule it, and they refused to come through on their word and said they would offer me two store credits for half of what I paid for instead. Rather than speaking to me on the phone for 5 min to talk about it, the owner, Matt, told his office manager to inform me he would not call me and would be sending me an email. In which he told me I was out of luck and they wouldn't help me and to try to get a refund from the deal site.
Don't bother giving your business to someone that could care less about their customers.
